Salah as well.
I think Salah was bought with the actual intention of playing, unfortunately for them they had him playing on the right and left wing without realising what he could do further up the pitch.

Salah as well.
as troy keane pointed out many years ago...loans come with fees..and they certainly do when its a premier legaue club loaning out an expensive player...chelsea have actually been making profits in recent years-the year prior to the pandemic abramavhich repaid himself 80 million...and they havent soent that much because they sold players...
He’ll have to be ganninI've kept an eye on the lad for a couple of seasons. He'll be a better signing for City than Luiz Dias has been for Liverpool. I'll hang my hat on that.
djilbodgi was sold to us for millions of profit..i use him as an example because they could make a profit on someken that shit...How many have been sold on for millions of profit? Very few. Chelsea have lost millions even with the loan fees.

borja whp is on loan at southampton will be sold this usmmer if they dont want him...will go for many millions...
they bought aadndu from exter for basica ompo..he is on loan in seire A now..that should be millions of profit..
they sold de brueyne to a germn club for £20m..
the pint is the ones they sell are usually not famous so dont attract as much publicty as the ones they buy..
Liverpool operate the same way..their very long serving aacdemy guy says the remit is to make a profit from the academy and they usually do..selling players like brewster or kent for quite big fees after they have done a few loans..

Need to have both a squad size rule and a maximum of say three players loaned out, otherwise the top clubs will just hover up all of the talent.Clubs like City and Chelsea are ruining the game buying everyone and then loaning them or binning them when it doesn’t work.

I think we'll steer well clear of another Alvarez.Doyle & Alvarez in on loan for us next season IMO
A small profit on Djilibodji to us given his wages. De Bruyne is one. Who else who contributed nothing to the first team was sold for a big profit? Very few.
To be fair at the time, Willian, Oscar and Schurle were in the form. Hazard was at his peak and they had Costa and Drogba as back up. Salah, at that time, wasn't good enough to dislodge them.
Dunno how you can say that for certainSome do. It's still nowhere near Chelsea recouping their outlay though.
Zouma?
Ake, Traore, Kalas, Bamford. How was it a small profit on Papy? They bought him for £2m and sold him for £8m.A small profit on Djilibodji to us given his wages. De Bruyne is one. Who else who contributed nothing to the first team was sold for a big profit? Very few.

How much was he earning?!

yes but thats the point..not all of them will work out..but a big profit on one of them pays for a couple of the flops as well..its a numbers game but thats why they have big numbers...Upwards of 40k a week.
I'm not denying that a few have been sold for a profit. For every De Bruyne and Aké there's a Clarke-Salter and Baba Rahaman.
