Perhaps my maths are wrong but if 20% is 3 million why did it cost 40 million for the club? Surely 20% is 8 million!

To be fair what an opportunity for someone like sartori to get involved with a big football club like Sunderland.

We might be in league 1 but if things go well in 3 or 4 seasons we could be back in the premier league.

When you see how much clubs in the premier league are for sale for like the Mags 400 million and that's even before you start investing in the playing side.

Sartori and his family could easily be owning a Premier league club with an incredible training ground a 48000 stadium a fantastic fanbase and that only cost 40 million and with next to no debt

Absolutely agree, the only issue was the debt. Donald has got himself a fantastic deal, lets be honest, pleased with with he is doing but he will benefit from it massively financially if he gets it right.

From what I remember, he referred to "family".
Family, basically in his wife's name even if it's his father in-law's cash, would be a way of avoiding ownership issues clashes if, and this is hugely improbable right now, we were to end up in the same European competition as Monaco. Obviously ridiculously optimistic thinking when we need to be more concerned about not getting battered by Joey Barton's Fleetwood right now.
