The comment about questionable motives and wanting to unsettle the club is just pathetic. Everyone is desperate for the club to succeed. Our support has been incredible, but patience i suspect is in short supply now.

tbf to @Paint your wagon there has been a history of subversive posters happy spreading upheaval. The site administrators know the locations where anonymous accounts are created and let’s just say they aren’t traditional SAFC supporting areas!
 
Maybe strike up a bit of a link with Monaco?....Juan being on both clubs boards kind of creates that link anyway.
 
Our support are like rabid f***ing animals after a few losses. Surprised the dinner ladies haven't getting pelts for how unfit we are or the grounds keepers for the injuries we're getting at the training ground and home turf. We now have 2 very wealthy and very influential board members as a club that needs to stop pissing money up the wall on shite. Yet our supporters seem to want these 2 to act like FM sugar daddies. Get a grip?

What type of link with Monaco would that be though?

It’s very easy to say this type of thing but what genuinely tangible benefits are potentially available to SAFC from forging perceived links with AS Monaco in the French top flight?

the money was owed to sbc corporation. league rules mean the para money couldnt go straigh to them...so short paid them..then claimed it back from safc when the para money arrived.

It was owed to him as part of the sale agreement. How and when it was paid was down to the new owners. Ellis Short didn’t take income from SAFC. That’s a very misleading statement.

Not once have I mentioned or even insinuated that Donald or anyone from Madrox have profited from SAFC.

I think it may have been their aim to initially, I.e restore the club to the top two divisions after reducing overheads to a level that new investors wouldn’t be scared by and then flip it. Perfectly fine to do that and I was never particularly uncomfortable with that notion. I was uncomfortable with the spin around everything, their communications and the obscene levels of credit given to them by our own fanbase despite them not doing much beyond cutting costs.
