Because they don't include performance targets and requirements in those contracts. They aren't being sacked in the normal sense as they haven't broken their contracts. It's a golden handshake, which happen in all kinds of professions.

Mourinho is literally one of the most successful managers of all time but some on here reckon he’s shit because he hasn’t won anything in 3 seasons, and comparing him to Ron f***ing Atkinson when they’d be wanking their cocks off if there was a chance of him coming here.
 
He's a busted flush these days..back in the day he was young and a breath of fresh air..these days his ego and narcissistic ways just seem to piss off everyone and everything..his remit now is to go to a club and absolutely dismantle everything..then engineers a dismissal with a pay off....
