Jordan Henderson (signed for Brentford)

I'm now thinking the whole Henderson saga was a huge red herring. Meanwhile, were signing everyone else's targets.

I think the longer it all dragged on the less chance he'd come here.
From all the rumours he's definitely leaving Ajax and he really wanted to come and we'd spoken to him, I'd have thought it would have been one of the first ones sorted?

There's a poster on here who appears to know him well, I wonder if he's said anything recently?

If we get rid of Brown and loan out Aleksic Henderson still makes sense.

Hendo/Neil Diarra/sadiki
Le Fee/Rigg

There is an assumption by many on here that we are going to play with wingers next season.
Iam not so sure, that midfield you just listed would be some barrier on the one hand but would create some chances for one of our forwards, neither of which are great at attacking crosses.

I really hope it happens for lots of on and off field reasons probably already mentioned in this thread I'm sure (I haven't read 118 pages). If they are considering it and have had discussions it wouldn't have been a priority as we've clearly been devoting time to getting young lads in, and still have a lot more to bring in and move out. Add to that Diogo Jota's tragedy, who JH would have been very close too, and I can see why it might not happen soon if they are planning something.

I also want it to happen, just need to see what happens now.
