Don’t really get why people want him doing his badges and whatever. Surely we’d want him focused on playing. That was more an idea for the championship to make it a more attractive proposition for him imo.
 
Cannot see it happening. Would be massive wages. Honestly can’t see this happening.We don’t sign these aging players.

He’s not your average player though .
He’s a Sunderland local and fan , he’ll probably accept a wage reduction to come and he’s acknowledged as one of the best influences both on and off the pitch to his fellow teammates .
Hes also a decent player despite his age .
