One of the craziest things I've ever seen posted on here. Assuming Birtley Lad could afford a Tesla why would he not want to buy one? I guess it's because of the Musk connection. I'm sure Elon will have sleepless nights over this.
 

The fact he’s played for us before makes literally 0 difference to how he will perform if he signs. Comparing him to Defoe, Graham etc is completely pointless.

It’s easy to mock. It’s a decision I made myself and I feel happier as a result. The fact you don’t understand it and call it one of the craziest things you have ever seen written doesn’t bother me in the slightest. I can look at myself in the mirror knowing I’ve done the right thing.

Secondly, of course I realise that only a minority will do same, and that my actions (or non actions) alone will make no difference. That has happened many times in the past and I’m sure will happen in the future.

However, if everybody had a moral backbone and refused to buy a Tesla then Musk absolutely would lose sleep. Already the company is 13% down on sales and he will not be at all happy about that because of his ego. No coincidence he is moving away from the US government.

What do you mean "if everybody had a moral backbone"? Is it so difficult to understand that people have different morals and values to you?

Is there anybody comparable to Henderson though. He was just a kid when he left and hence not anywhere near meeting his potential.

If you want to go back far enough Bracewell, Cummins and Robson all had great spells after returning

The poster wrote it was the stupidest thing he/she had ever read. Couldn’t understand that some people; many people in fact, make decisions not just based on money.

I was saying that I acknowledge my actions will have no effect. But if everybody did same then it would do. Loads of people have stopped buying Teslas because of Musk’s appalling behaviour and close association with Trump. If only everybody followed suit and chose to buy a different car instead of a Tesla.

For me, it's who else comes in with him.

Still think we're way off it in terms of power and pace in midfield. We'll need to hurry and disrupt the oppositions play, force mistakes. I hate to use the f#ckers as an example, but the mags workrate in CM is top notch for chasing that ball down and winning it back. Surprisingly, there's not many more teams put that much effort in because they try and piss about playing total football.

We need some players in with power, pace, and really solid workrate.

Well I don't really want to get into a political discussion on a football message board with somebody who is so virtuous they have to brag about it. Suffice to say that Elon Musk just saved America billions of tax payer dollars by exposing the corruption within USAID. We should hire him, he'd have a field day finding out where our tax pounds are going.

Agreed - the far left brigade live in a land of absolute fantasy. The enemy is Elon Musk! They haven’t got a problem with terrorists. It’s what they have been told - and they just drink it in! Mindblowing!

I’m not bragging…. that is a bizarre thing to write. I was asked to explain my reasoning several times so I did.

It’s one of many reasons why I feel so strongly about people taking money from Saudi.
