Jordan Henderson (signed for Brentford)


Don't think speakman is keen on him, had a chance to rejoin before he went to play in Holland but speakman didn't want him. Can't see it changing a year on

Henderson wont be looking for a final pay day though, he will have enough already.....the challenge for him will be a personal one and that would be to keep SAFC in the Premiership ( mainly ) and if possible win a cup with us ( massive bonus )

Exactly. People go on like he's a pensioner, he's only 34 so we could get 2 seasons out of him.
 
It's a no for me. It didn't work bringing back Leadbitter despite him being a top lad and massive fan.

No room for sentimentally.
 
Honestly wouldn’t be against it. Think it’s understandable why he didn’t want to come back to the Championship. By all accounts he’s liked by his team mates at Ajax and has raised the professionalism and such - mixed results playing perhaps but they were in Europe and challenging for the title.

Even for a season I think he’d be invaluable on and off the pitch but perhaps it’s too late in the day for him now
