Anyone objecting because of his brief stint in Saudi simply need their head testingWe realistically can't afford to bring in anyone else of his calibre, plus he has loads of prem experience and loves the club.
Absolute no brainer
I really don't. It's called mortality. Look it up if you can find a dictionary in smogland. If he can rip up everything he said he stood for to take their blood money he's not trustworthy In the slightest and not the example I'd want for younger players.Anyone objecting because of his brief stint in Saudi simply need their head testing
He made an error of judgment we’ve all done thatI really don't. It's called mortality. Look it up if you can find a dictionary in smogland. And within weeks of getting there, realised it was a mistake. He then turned away inside 6 months from the millions offered and went to Ajax without any Saudi £££££He made an error of judgment we’ve all done that
Exactly I rest my case mluadAnd within weeks of getting there, realised it was a mistake. He then turned away inside 6 months from the millions offered and went to Ajax without any Saudi £££££
Morality do you mean?I really don't. It's called mortality. Look it up if you can find a dictionary in smogland. If he can rip up everything he said he stood for to take their blood money he's not trustworthy In the slightest and not the example I'd want for younger players.
He completely threw away everything he said he publicly stood for. A mistake is something much more minor. What he did was unforgiveable. He doubled down whilst out there being a poster boy for the world cup bid. He commanded big money because the Saudis knew, as we know if they Could corrupt someone like him, anyone is getableHe made an error of judgment we’ve all done that
Yes that tooMorality do you mean?
You look down on Jordan Henderson. That to me is pure arrogance. You have never met the guy - I have. You have never spoken to his family, friends, team mates, business associates - but seem to think you are superior to a proper Sunderland legend!Alreet Jordan?
Dear oh dear
And all because I have my own opinion and wish to stick to some very basic principles.
Yes, I agree….. as can be seen on here most supporters don’t agree with the concerns about him being pinned up (as captain) as a role model.Bottom line on this is if someone said Sunderland have the chance to bring in a 35 year old current England international who has captained his club team to winning both the EPL and ECL who is also a Sunderland supporter, 99% would say sign him up.
It's only because it's Henderson and his dubious Saudi decision that brings any doubt. He's made a bad judgement which happens. In the context that he wasn't and still isn't the only high profile player to make that decision.
There's nothing to suggest his character would be disruptive towards the current culture in any way. Indeed there are no footballing reason why he wouldn't be an ideal signing.
Because he hated it there. That's called consequence, not regret that he made a huge moral fckup and betrayed a group of people he'd been very publically supporting. And within weeks of getting there, realised it was a mistake. He then turned away inside 6 months from the millions offered and went to Ajax without any Saudi £££££
Go and speak out about the murderous and barbaric regimes in Iran, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, Yemen, Afghanistan, Lebanon - I look forward to seeing your comments?Yes, I agree….. as can be seen on here most supporters don’t agree with the concerns about him being pinned up (as captain) as a role model.
Not sure it’s 99% mind. I’d hope it would be a bit lower.
If it happens it happens. Those few who are uncomfortable with it will be in the minority as ever, and we’ll need to decide what we do afterwards. But that decision will be ours to make no matter what abuse and ridicule we get on here.
Does the Liverpool Assistant coach going to Ajax as manager change Henderson decision of coming to Sunderland? It’s clear Sunderland/Rangers/Ajax his only spots next seasonBottom line on this is if someone said Sunderland have the chance to bring in a 35 year old current England international who has captained his club team to winning both the EPL and ECL who is also a Sunderland supporter, 99% would say sign him up.

What point are you trying to make, here?Go and speak out about the murderous and barbaric regimes in Iran, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, Yemen, Afghanistan, Lebanon - I look forward to seeing your comments?
Do you condemn Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS, Jihadi State, Al Qaeda, the Taliban, Islamic State?Because he hated it there. That's called consequence, not regret that he made a huge moral fckup and betrayed a group of people he'd been very publically supporting.
Where's the evidence that he had some sort of moral epiphany?
He could well be a great signing for us, but he's still a hypocrite who refuses to condemn the Saudis.

You are either arrogant or deluded! Let’s have a look at your life - what gives you the arrogance to condemn a great guy such as Hendo!?
I don’t support Henderson. He doesn’t need my support - he is a very successful footballer who has captained his country, captained his club to the Champions League Trophy - is a great husband, father, son and mate! Who are you big man? What point are you trying to make, here?
As usual, those who support Henderson have nothing but straw man arguments.
