Striker
Cracking centre half, good footballer, great in the air, reads the game well and both footed.

Stupid decision by Man Utd selling him (LvG was an idiot) he'll be a terrific buy for City if it goes through.

Him and Nyron under Keano

Canny shameful really for LVG to sell Evans and Welbeck, 2 academy lads who were excellent players

Board should realise when a manager is making mistakes.

I wouldn't say he's brilliant on the ball mind but he's been but he's been underrrated. £8 million they paid for him - bargain.

Very disappointed when he went to WBA. Was it purely a lack of funds on our part?

JOS has needed replacing for years. That was a prime opportunity to set up our CB for the foreseeable. How much have we spent / lost since on CBs? Kaboul in and out. Kone patchy and unsettled. Dodgy ... well, dodgy. A penny wise and a pound foolish?

Played his best football next to nyron
He played well, needed to next to that lummox noz, but his best football was with united undoubtedly

When you think West Brom paid £8m and we paid that for Dodgy
The manager wanted the player. The club stumped up the fee. If the club saud no to the manager it would be accused of lacking ambition.

Aye over 1000 months

He said and saf said he was going back to united.
There was never any chance we would get him.
People convenuently forget keane bought anton ferdinand for 8m and ringo 4.5m so funds werent the problem.
The dreamers and delusionists who believe we didnt want him or other anti safc agenda ridden clarts are up to their mischief again

Am not on about after his loan man. As a talented youngun it was obvious he and Welbeck were going back to Man U

I meant a couple of years ago when we were desperate to replace JOS and he went to WBA - would he not have been a great option then? Were we ever in for him? If so how come we didn't get him - were we simply outbid or did he turn us down or what?

Teams in the UEFA comps need to register a minimum of 8 Homegrown players. That's 8 players that were trained by clubs from the same national league, 4 of them from the clubs own youth system.

Teams do it every year. Evans will probably be a bench warmer at City, they just need him to make up the homegrown quota.

He's talking about when Man Utd sold him to WBA, not when we had him on loan, which was obviously way after Roy Keane was here but don't let that get in the way of your agenda.
