Been watching him for ages and do enjoy his cooking. He always states he's a 'Retired cook from the the north of England' I thought maybe Durham accent?

I think he nicked my baked cheesecake recipe (stolen from Mary Berry in all honesty) :)

Aye I looked him up. He used to run a catering firm but took ill and is now housebound so does this to pass the time. He has a book out as well.

I love sausage and tomato pie. Might suggest to him to do his own version of panack. Bet he would do a nice one.
 
I rarely watch his videos nowadays but I subscribed years back to help out a local fella.

Seems a nice lad and great to see him being so successful.
 
Great little channel - great recipes and baking/cooking techniques for good quality non fussy foods - got his own product sales line as well - think his skeleton hand oven gloves are so funny

Aye I get that. My mam taught me how to cook so I make most of it anyway but I’d forgotten about a few things he makes and I like watching people cook.

I've been meaning to ask the same.

I'm a big fan of cooking/recipe vids on youtube, especially John, I've not tried his recipes yet, but as someone has said, I find him very relaxing to watch/listen to.
