Do people want international cricket in May? If my memory serves me right the times ECB have they have been criticized on here for playing it too early.

Last year they were slaughtered for playing the Ashes as early as late June/July never mind May
 

Players always spout the "exhausted from too much cricket" line.

I have always said they don't have to be in this situation. There are 4 domestic competitions in England, two of which run at the same time. They don't have to play all competitions. If the CC is too much for them then don't sign a red ball contract. That also applies to any tournament they find difficult.

It really is that simple.

Not sure I see the massive issue, he and Salt have both left their IPL sides who have both made the play offs in the worlds biggest domestic competition.

Rightly soo mind as England should come first and he has rightly put England first.

He is simply saying it would be best going forward for less clashes seems fair enough.

Even the article says itself the England matches had been in the tours programme since 2022 with dates finalised in 2023, also that the ipl itself didn't sort their dates out until 2024 due to the local elections

So not sure what Buttler is expecting cricket boards to do

They are trying to ruin our game.
Buttler is an amazing player but money motivates him and that comment shows it.

Key who I’ve met numerous times so il comment on that he is a wanker and comes across as one (personal opinion)

You won’t have a bad word said about England or the ecb so soon as it’s affecting people they are going to be annoyed

@brandon etc follow county cricket all the time and they always have a healthy debate on here it would be sad for it to diminish and the hardcore fans be pushed out.

I mean Durham have already been slyed year on year by the ecb

Losing England games
Fines
Relegations
Injuries to star players

Being tested at every angle so I can see why these diehard county fans get pissed off.

The ability of Buttler to hit a white ball, whilst being paid money to hit a white ball doesn’t make him a good judge of what the cricketing public want

He doesn’t debate at all, he just calls anybody who dares says or even considers reducing any county games all the names under the sun.

Any pundit, ex cricketer in fact anybody at all who otherwise has had distinguished careers are wankers, pricks etc over night as soon as they suggest the above.

Other posters debate he just insults anybody and everybody who suggests reducing county games

I’ve had debates with him over the years on numerous threads and he’s been majority sound to be honest? Maybe it’s you 😂 I also stayed they probably about 5-6 regularly on the threads also I know a few who love county cricket who I see at the riverside week in week out.

However I’ve raised a fair few points to you why Durham fans would be annoyed and pissed off.

A few valid points I believe

International and domestic cricket have been played at the same time forever.

It's ludicrous to suggest that no international cricket should be played anywhere in the world because of tournament the most of the cricket auidience outside of a single country care little for.

I've always been a Jos Buttler fan on and off the pitch as well but he's very wrong here.
