Jocelin Ta Bi

This.

It's incredibly concerning how many tech illiterate people take these shite LLMs as gospel.

They're great for many things, but outside of NotebookLM where you curate your own information it's horse shit for reliable info.
You can tell like, when AI has written something. It Is what I expect a computer to speak like

I would only be bothered about any of the above if he was a 24/25 year old player.

But he's basically been scouted in the Ivory Coast and moved to Israel as a 19 year old.

It's probably been recognised that he's way too good for that league and we have paid £3.5m to sign him after only 1 season there.

Obviously the step up in quality is huge, but he is probably somewhere between the two leagues in terms of quality already.

Oh, of course, I'm not judging him at all. At the price he's literally a punt anyway so even if he never sees the pitch regularly in his time here, there's no loss. If he makes anything of himself, it's a win.

Looks a direct tricky little bugger. If it prevents full backs bombing on a lot in trepidation then go for it. Think he'll muck in defensively as well.

Another one for the bin after a farts length of pitch time
That’s absolutely not what I’ve said, my point is he wasn’t actually very good vs Fulham but did show glimpses that he could be in the very limited time on the pitch.

Just a joke mate. I can't even remember him coming on 😂

This made me chuckle … from The Athletic

Maccabi Netanya to Sunderland

First impressions: Sunderland’s scouting network apparently extends to finding a 20-year-old Ivorian winger who was on loan at Hapoel Petah Tikva from fellow Israeli side Maccabi Netanya. Expect their next signing to be discovered on one of Saturn’s lesser-known moons. To be completely frank, we don’t know much about Ta Bi.

Verdict: We still don’t know much about him. One league appearance, during which he suffered a season-ending ankle injury.

Not a totally unfair assessment
The assessment and expectations from less than à full league game and a pub league cup appearance are way over the top
Needs to be judged over at least half a dozen games against proper teams
We seem to have a cohort of fans who believe the magic potion will be à goal scoring tricky winger who plucks goals from nothing. Based on the square root of zilch many have appointed someone who’s career has been spent in second tier reserve football, this lad is bees knees
