Jobe Bellingham - post SAFC compendium

We now have the money to buy him and Le Fe. I thought about the order of business on the coach, what we should do with the money, and that has to be the first two things.

I think he’ll stay now for at least another season. Progression is what he’s all about, so might as well stay with a group of lads he obviously loves and is comfortable.

We won't get the loan. He'll be playing champions league next season with the aim of being in the England squad for the World Cup
I think Jude was further in his development when he went to Dortmund so was always going to be an asset for them in the Champions League. I’m not sure Jobe is quite that level yet myself but maybe I’m just trying to convince myself he’ll play another season with us somehow

He should stay, guaranteed season of being a starter in the Prem is massive for a kid at his age.
If he were to stop realistically he’s going to be fighting relegation most weeks and competing at the wrong end of the table. They will strike whilst the iron is hot he will already have his next move sorted out

Said yesterday he is happy to be part of the team that got us into the premier league, which translates to me is he won’t be part of the team that plays in the premier league.

Or should I take my tinfoil hat off?

In one interview before the final he said he that at the end of last season things had ended so badly he was determined to stay another season to put things right.

Well, he's done that, and I think his emotional response yesterday shows that he feels he can leave us in good conscience.
Sure he'll always love us!

He’s going I think. But most should stay as they will have better chance of playing.

I think for example Watson would’ve been better off here than Brighton, but best of luck to him.
