I imagine it depends on what is possible . Improving wing and CF options might not be but Lucumi may. Perfect recruitment shouldn’t be the enemy of good recruitment.
Of the players you list one would probably be RB and another competes for three positions whilst O’Nien is still an unknown quantity at this level albeit he looked excellent yesterday so probably can be 4/5th choice.

I agree in principle but only if we were an established premier league side. At the moment I’d say it was far more important to fill obvious gaps or areas in the squad where an upgrade is far more preferable.

Agree with this IF its one or the other!

However I feel we still need another centre back option in this squad. If they feel the same that a Lucumi or someone of that quality is needed to challenge Alderete for the LCB spot then so be it.

If Lucumi came in and became just as good as the others then happy days!

I really like Geertruida but wouldn’t say it’s 100% nailed on he stays just for the fact he’s very much a utility man. They might think on summer to upgrade with nailed on starters for the positions they play

I think because of this versatility he is more likely to stay and so he should.

Immense wherever he plays.

How bad Alderete played the other night, yes it was a one off I’d not be concerned if Geertruida played lcb next saturday instead of him.

Class at RB, CB or CM

Yeah it’s another way of looking at it. Just saying could be another route if they went down it

Really depends on what the budget is I guess
