The release clause would’ve probably been all up front whereas we’re doing it in instalments and in add ons.

Sorry if this has already been answered but how have we been allowed to negotiate terms with him if they have no intention of selling him? From what their coach or CEO said the other day, I can’t remember which one, it’s not about the fee it’s more about not being able to replace him.

It's all posturing. We could only agree terms if Bologna allowed us to negotiate with the player.
