Him & Luke should get on well after training.
Is good with both feet apparently but his left is his strongest foot.
Only rates 50/100 on aerial duals so should play alongside Ballard in a 3, whenever we change shape.

He will. I'm just saying I don't want to have to rely on him to have to play games after game with no other options. He deserved his deal but I think he'll be a backup. No chance he plays ahead of Alderete and Lucumi if they're fit. Which isn't an issue for a bloke who's nearly 31 and never played at this level, it's realism.

I've said he will play games. But he isnt going to be one of the 2 preferred starters if Lucumi comes in. He just isn't.
Lucumi, Alderete, Mukiele, Ballard, O'Nien is a very decent set of centre backs for a newly promoted team.

I think he will do alright in most parts of games, I just think we have better players there if Lucumi comes in.

A week ago was absolutely desperate to bring this lad in, bit more relaxed about it now if it doesn't come off. Love it it if he comes and obviously could do with another CB but even if it's a loan towards the end the window be fine.

Exactly the club will be conscious of ballards injury record, and the way he plays he’s gonna get knocks at some point so need quality cover/competition for him but also others will pick up suspensions and injuries
