Last news about this fella was about 2 weeks ago saying he wasn't interested in coming, but since then a supposed ITK made some cryptic comments suggesting there'd be news about Lucumi yesterday, which never came to pass. Anything else is just pure speculation from our fans.Explain to me in a sentence like I’m 6 where we’re up to with this one and if it’s likely to happen
I’m definitely older than 5 and no comprendeI'll explain it like a five year old.
Yesterday, Sunderland wanted to buy a football man. He doesn't like football in Sunderland. He likes pizza. People in Sunderland want to give him lots of pizza, but now he says he wants spaghetti. People in Sunderland will give him all the pizza, spaghetti and gelato he wants. But now he changed his mind and doesn't want to eat anything. But the people in Sunderland still have lots of pizza and spaghetti, and they want him to eat it even though it's cold and a bit mouldy now.
Blokes a fat **** who likes Italian but is on a dietI’m definitely older than 5 and no comprende
Dude if that’s how you talk to 5 years old you need to be on some kinda list…..I'll explain it like a five year old.

To be fair he had a good game that day, we thought we were onto something…..however the optimism left after that one game.It still shocks me looking back that we went into our last season as a newly promoted PL side with Paul Mcshane as a starting Centre Half.

Waiting for a cheaper replacement before they sell to us. Or whoever
Anyone else read this like Johnny Cash?Florent Ghisolfi and Marco Di Vaio were in the conference room making deals, and I saw one of the deals, and Lucumi looked at me

Anyone else read that as Samuel L Jackson in Pulp Fiction ?I'll explain it like a five year old.

Still not officially confirmed. It must be very close as the West Brom player arrived in Bologna yesterday late on. Medical today and announced tonight or tomorrow you’d imagine.Already done. They've got the LCB from West Brom, haven't they?
It’s agreed with a medical happening but not yet signedAlready done. They've got the LCB from West Brom, haven't they?
Nee ketchup though…I'll explain it like a five year old.

Exactly, I think we want to have the option of a long left footed launch out to the winger, but overall they will mostly just be doing 10 yard triangle passes into Xhaka to lay into the full back. Like you say, the main job is concentration, positioning, marking up etc.I reckon a lot of the apprehension is due to the fact that many hark back to the days when they played and rarely was anyone 2 footed or even barely adequate when the ball was on the ‘wrong’ foot.
Modern players may have a preferred foot but I think you’ll find they are more than adequate on what we would class as their weaker side.
Besides at CB especially it’s about marking, tackling, intercepting, simple passes, yes the odd hoik upfield, but rarely ( if ever ) do they need ‘ messiesque ‘ close control with that wrong foot.
Too many making mountains out of molehills on this issue
We're still debating if he can play on the right side while being left footed. We'll keep you posted!Explain to me in a sentence like I’m 6 where we’re up to with this one and if it’s likely to happen
Not if he, like others are in the physios room.Yep, him starting games is a non starter for me, but a handy player to bring on near the end of games
LCBs
Omar, Alese, Hyelde, also Reinildo is comfortable there as we have Masuaka & Cirkin as LB options
RCBs
Ballard O'9
Seelt will be away as he needs to play
I think we need another 1, a right footer who can also play RB as I don't think Huggins, as back up to Hume, is up to the physicality of the PL
