Jhon Lucumi - Transfer Rumour

He's cost us 8-9 goals in each of the last 2 seasons with his mistakes, yes ive been counting. This figure will be worse in the prem. He always goes for the man, not the ball, because that's all he's good enough to do. You can't do that in this league, the prem forwards will love him, they are too sharp and will anticipate him leaving his foot in and get the call every time with VAR.

So what exactly he going to do for us in this league, besides being liability? Even his leadership role has demolished now it's practically an entire new team with a premier league leader, Xhaka.

Think I'm right in saying everyone one of those lads, apart from Diego, obviously, played for us in the PL. Hope he gets his chance - even if it's just a handful of apps he doesn't half deserve it. With our injury record he more than likely will get it.

Le Fee said he's the best footballing person he's ever met (iirc). In my opinion, whether playing or not, he's the most important player in our squad. Sets a standard that shouldn't be lowered.

Good point you've made, not once demeaned his contribution overall, his status in the squad is massive,

This! Sometimes, it's one of the lesser heralded players in the squad that's part of the club for years like O'Nien that drives the standards and makes sure things are ticking over right. Is it Dunk at Brighton and Cash (I could be wrong, mind) at Villa that do this. Maybe not seen as instrumental, key players but it's the type you need in the squad.
