Yes, we have better full backs, who are in front of him, Hume, Reinildo, Cirkin etcI mean, that’s a topper two sentence contradiction that.

It’s an exercise in overly negative thinking and failing to give the recruitment team any credit for what it has done so far. They’ve upgraded the entire midfield massively. Why would anyone assume they won’t upgrade the defence or have somehow failed adequately to plan to do so?So it's a trolling exercise now, grow a pair.
Exactly,
Which would mean we are only one CB away from a solid enough back 4.
The risk is injuries but that goes for most other teams too.
It’s “not acceptable” I’m afraid. It’s an exercise in overly negative thinking and failing to give the recruitment team any credit for what it has done so far. To be fair to those that are rightly panicking about it, they haven’t adequately upgraded the defence and we’re 8 days away from kick off in a winnable game. It’s an exercise in overly negative thinking and failing to give the recruitment team any credit for what it has done so far. All of the previous clubs who have been promoted and survived spent heavily in their defence at the expense of their front line.
I’m still hoping for a ‘here we go’ or two but whoever comes in at this stage will have played zero pre-season games and probably can’t be expected to go straight in to the back line meaning the West Ham defence will be square legs in round holes.
You know for a fact if we’d signed defenders and were now waiting on CM targets, he’d be pissing his pants that we’d left such an important position so late in the windowIt’s an exercise in overly negative thinking and failing to give the recruitment team any credit for what it has done so far. Way over rated on here. He's OK running with the ball in front of him but his ball control is suspect. He is a championship player at best. If he can have a run of fitness I would expect Huggins natural level would be L1 or Championship. He’s maybe not fit and ready but his technique is one of the best.
You make a fair point. Sub optimal not to have a cb bedded in. But some of the comments are right over the top.To be fair to those that are rightly panicking about it, they haven’t adequately upgraded the defence and we’re 8 days away from kick off in a winnable game.

I really don’t agree. Injured and vulnerable but his quality is underrated to me, especially be you it seems.Way over rated on here. I think if we don’t get one in Reinildo will play cb, possibly sadiki rb and hume lb , not ideal but capable of performing (agree we can’t be starting seelt, or jones)I trust the club to get at least one cb back in hopefully two. If Seelt starts against West Ham then we will be in a world of hurt.
We need to start with players in their strongest position mate, might get away with plugging the gaps in the championship, it will be found out in the Premiership.I think if we don’t get one in Reinildo will play cb, possibly sadiki rb and hume lb , not ideal but capable of performing (agree we can’t be starting seelt, or jones)
100% , hopefully something happens over weekend so they have a least 4/5 days to train with the team, if not that’s prob our best option for West Ham unfortunatelyWe need to start with players in their strongest position mate, might get away with plugging the gaps in the championship, it will be found out in the Premiership.
That's a lot of shuffling around to accommodate the lack of a centre back. Poor business if we reach the West Ham game without having invested in a single centre back.I think if we don’t get one in Reinildo will play cb, possibly sadiki rb and hume lb , not ideal but capable of performing (agree we can’t be starting seelt, or jones)
Mepham isn't prem qualityMepham and Tanganga are always still there to get on the relative cheap.
