Both sides are playing their own games. We play games with players to negotiate a stronger position.

Players do the same with clubs. Its just negotiating and its not going to change any time soon

problem is that other clubs interested. thats why the player is holding back and make decisions. He's 27 and he want to make the right decision to move. I get that.

I struggle to believe anyone who keeps citing Tom White actually listened to that podcast.

He said it's public knowledge we'd been in for him so that's the only name he could give - ie didn't add anything at all to what's already out there, then cited a text he'd received saying that the deal was almost done as an example of receiving false information!

eh? but his texts are from sky sources tho, wasnt just like his pal? So as recently as a week ago, he had sky sources saying it was all but done but they couldnt put it on the tele as it hadnt been fully finalised as they have to go through stringent processes. So what he confirmed was Sky considered using it as an article, clearly it was somewhat active then

Lads who are 21/22 or 31/32 will more likely take a punt on a what is a relegation favorite than someone in mid to late 20’s…unless really really silly money is on the table. Money of course is the elephant in the room and premier league teams dwarf all others except Madrid, Barca and sportswash central
Personally I am cringing at the money we have spent thus far but I have to assume kld has it all squared off in the event we get relegated

I don't think he said who it was from but Tom isn't going to b*llsh!t and say his mate sent him a text saying it was all but done. He'll have club sources like Keith D..... whether we like it or not.

If that's the case then perhaps we're still waiting on Bolonga getting their replacement
