The only problem with that is a lot of our "easier" games fall within that first few weeks.

We really need players in and ready to go from day one, in particular at GK and CB now.

Easy for me to say as it's not my money, but I'd advocate spending a bit more to get the deals done quicker, if they're at that stage, due to the importance on our first handful of games.

By September the 30th we need to be in Champions League spot, because what is coming later is tremendous. When you look at the fixture list and wonder where we can pick up points, those first few games are, as you say, "easier".
However, making predictions at the moment is pointless as we have no idea what our final team will look like and if they will gel.
Centre back and striker priorities.

I take everything I hear with a pinch of salt nowadays but thought I would add it to the list of the other 453 players we have been linked with this summer 😂
