based on what? Lucumi has just played pretty much every game in a copa italia winning campaign. Unless you've watched a lot of each I'm really not sure how you can say he's a far better prospect

the left sided cb has to be a priority with both O'Nien & Alese out. Whilst I do think we need to bring in 2, the right side isn't as pressing as I've faith in Ballard to step up & Seelt performed well the other night. If we can afford to spend big on both Lucumi & Diakite then fair enough thats massively ambitious but if it's one or the other it has to be Lucumi for me.

Ballard has a good chance of stepping up but it’s a risk
Not convinced either Seelt or o9 would be anywhere near good enough - we cannot take a chance on this, it’s too important. You juts have to be relatively solid in the PL or it’s curtains
Going behind makes it very very tough in any game in that league (unless you are one of the very top sides)

I imagine there is a budget per role, rather than a single pot.
So the lauriente saving would likely be spent on a forward/winger.m, rather than a CB
Think we will sign at least 2 more defenders,1 CB and a FB who can play either side.The most important signing now for me is CF and its not getting much attention in the media or on here.I dont think there is anywhere enough goals in this squad.Last season we only won a couple of games by more than 1 goal,also if we lost 1 nil the goal was forensically examined instead of looking at the 10 in front of Patto not able to score even 1 to get a point.

i'd suggest that we are keeping our striker targets very close to our chest as they're the hardest to get over the line.
Wouldn't put it past the club right now to pull a whopper of a rabbit from the hat

Unbelievable mate. Honestly, what a coup it would he to get Xhaka alone man. What a midfield. Honestly think Xhaka, Diarra, Lee Fee and Sadiki is one of the best selection of midfielders outside of the top 4 maybe in the Premiership. Not kidding either.
