I can see why they'd go for another winger like but I think two top centre halves transform us, spine of the team is crucial.
Lucumi, Diakite and Mikautadze and we’ll finish top half.
That’s hardly delusional I’d be surprised if we don’t spend around 50 of our budget on two CBs. It can set us up for success

There will be a sizeable budget for 2 centre backs, a good pairing could be the difference between fighting all season to survive and being relatively comfortable.
We’ve already committed £20m+ for keepers which fell through. Just committed £17.5m for Lauriente which fell through.
There’s clearly big money still available. We will undoubtedly bring in a couple of loans later in the window too.
I’m confident whoever we end up bringing in will be top quality
