Naive if you don’t think that mind. Romano makes his living from playing both sides. We clearly use him when a deal is close. Agents also use him to generate interest. I doubt it would be coming from our end if we’re only “preparing a bid”.

Lie's a strong word, I'd just say he's involved in the games that get played. Such as maybe releasing a story to suit a club's narrative to save face for example.

This is the right thing to do, get 2-3 UCL level players in every window plus a few incredibly promising 20 years olds and we can become a top 10 club in 2-3 seasons. If we stay up this season we're half way there IMO.
