In their head it may well be perceived as:
- If Sunderland had been respectful and matched the release clause, then Bologna would have had time to plan and also respect the player and the clause.
- Now, Sunderland make a late offer and show little respect for Bologna.
- On that basis, a premium will have to be paid.
- No premium, then no transfer.

Recently bought 1 aswell... almost as if he's been brought in to replace lucumi.

Only curve ball i can potentially see is us gazumping them and getting some other class defender in for half the price of lucumi
