Jason Steele

The England version of Simon Moore. Covering for Henderson who was given extra time at home following the Conf league final.

Should a keeper get injured he’ll become the new 3rd choice.

He’s clearly a lot better than we saw but still pretty average. He’s done well to make the most of his ability.
Saw him a bit at Brighton

He has benefitted from being in teams with a lot of possession as he hasn't been under pressure too much

His kicking was his main asset and why they signed him, looked better with some confidence but not much better, just less volume coming his way

Agree with this. His save stats were below average. He was just very good tactically starting attacks, which de zerbi liked

If the 26 other players get injured/suspended along the way, he's next in line to lift the trophy if England win it. Absolutely mad when you think about it like that.

Thought he was every bit as bad as Camp but in a different way. Camp's body had given up on him whereas Steele was a bag of nerves and did something ridiculous almost every game. He seems in a much better place mentally and there is far less pressure on him as 2nd choice at Brighton. No issue with him to going as a spare coach.

I've met him a couple of times and he seemed like a nice lad. Im glad hes bounced back and been successful again.
