Japanese earthquake/tsunami

It doesn’t appear to be as devastating as the last big one that affected the Fukushima power plant. At least going by the posts on Twitter this morning.

The Tsunami was ‘only’ 1m higher than a normal tide height according to one news article so the areas affected inland will be limited to the immediate coastline only (hopefully).

Lad I went to Bede school with was washed out to sea in it. He was luckily picked up but was severely sunburned.
-A mate of mine was diving and had been out of the water for 10mins before it hit. The locals mage sure that they weren't inconvenienced in any way despite the devastation and casualties. He was very humbled by the experience.
