How about in a hard fought game where the goal that draws us even at 1-1 and is absolutely stunning but we go on to lose 2-1 in added time?

I agree. Defeats dont make them bad goals. It doesnt take away from the technique or ability however an ugly goal in a win is better than a screamer in a defeat
