Just wish we could go back 40 or 50 years when I and everyone else instantly knew all the players in the leagues and had an idea of their value and background. Everything seems to lucky dip nowadays
Nowadays it will either be an unheard of foreigner or some young lad from a Premier League academy.

Yes, like yourself I am concerned, the lad would be an exceptional signing, shocked and still not totally convinced Brighton are allowing to go out on loan again

I'm confident this would be a good signing, similar to Ballard. Rave reviews from a club at our level one year ago.

It's a good sign that other clubs are interested .I'd be worried if we were still signing players no one else wanted .

It could certainly turn out to be the best. However, the most important we could make is a central midfielder IMO. I'm concerned about the lack of links in this area - particularly given what Alex Neil has said publicly about the position.

Isn’t he signing a new contract at Brighton before going out on loan again?

Maybe that’s the hold up. Soon as he signs that off on loan he goes again.

I’m concerned on that too but I easily console myself that the new, smarter set up at the club can’t have failed to have recognised it as a priority, regardless of what Neil says in public.

I think Neil doesn't like to pinpoint areas publicly in case it impacts the current players in those positions
