Thats canny going, he's been in superb form this season.

England must have someone keeping an eye on him, very good short form player too.

Over 1000 runs already with 3 tons and 5 half centuries with an average of 85 and SR of 80

Got 2 less than double essex's first inning total off 222 balls ridiculous knock.

To score over 1000 runs at this stage in the championship with a SR of 80 is superb going. Him and Hales don't meet the defensive mindset of England so will never get in the test side.

They were analysing the top 5 and bell was the only player consitently on the front foot and getting out of the crease.

We also don't have a sehwag,warner,gayle,trescothick someone who's gonna come in and blast it around. Our top order is far too similar.

not sure vince is generally that players seems more of a classy ian bell type when I have seen him
 
i like the look of the lad. a touch of michael vaughan in certain shots. i feel he is a cert for england within the next 18 months

Guy at work was saying he reminded him of Vaughan but I haven't seen too much of him. As I said in another thread, it's nice to see the likes of Vince, Morgan and Hales knocking on the door as they're all different to the current squad in that they are aggressive, attacking players.

its the pick up shot on one leg. same style as vaughan
 
Haven't seen much domestic cricket this season due to a combination of the world cup and just forgetting it's on! Look forward to seeing him at some point.
