We didnt get relegated, the fact he got 24 goals in such an injury ravaged squad is testament to the lads ability. I saw every game the lad played his attitude and work rate is second to none and his strength, movement and eye for goal different class. I may support a league 1 side but i know a decent player when I see one

I hope you's keep him, he's f***ing crap

In fairness you thought they got relegated, you don't seem the most informed of people here.

I did think they'd got relegated, considering they hung around the bottom 4 all season the same way we hung around the bottom of the premier league. Forgive me for not noticing they escaped by a point. I still feel though that james vaughan is not up to the standard of championship football never mind a team that should be pushing for promotion.

I`ll place my trust in the manager who knows the Championship very well--hopefully he gets in who he wants soon!

I don't know about promotion with the players we are looking at relegation is the more likely and you would all have been saying that at the same time last year with the same targets. Short really has done us over, now stripping what is left of the assetts and not looking like reinvesting. Grayson will need to pull out all the stops to keep us in this league. To quote Bill Shankley again "buy second division players and you get a second division team." It follows that buying third division players will get you a third division team. That's the problem with relegation it brings that whole new world closer if you are not careful.

He is a manager, a journey man manager not a miracle man.

No moyes did us over

We aren't asset stripping

We can't, we don't have any.

Personally I think we have a solid squad currently just lacking strikers

Some players will leave and they will be replaced

Moyes was only the latest in a long line. You can call it what you like but selling our assetts and not reinvesting is assett stripping.

No you are lying

We buy players every summer

We spent 22 million on ndong n pappy last year

And 22 mill on lens n borini the year before

How the fuck is that asset stripping?

Any chance of actually responding to the facts that prove you completely wrong?

Are you insinuating that his/her position on the subject is so demonstrably pathetic that they have had to resort to ad homium attacks because it's all that they are capable of?

Maybe we weren't asset stripping then. But maybe since January, a period of time in which we have a net spend of minus £50m, and released 9 players from the wage bill without receiving a penny, everything is geared around your mate Ellis recovering the costs of his previous failure.
