He's a pretty poor Championship striker tbf.
Been a bit of a journeyman and probably found his level down in League 1. Even with a limited budget we can surely find better than him.

That would be a big surprise considering his recent Championship record, unless you're talking about him staying at Bury and getting 10-15 there?

We need 2 probably 3 in. So Vaughan and 2 others wouldn't be too bad. At 500k you can't go wrong really. He'll surely get a few goals.
He got 31 goals in 86 games for Huddersfield at that level. He did well at Bury last year and for me, there's not a massive gap between the two leagues.
Not saying he'd be my first choice, just think he might surprise a few.
