Fans renewed in phenomenal numbers for this level, so they achieved what they wanted. That's it, all this talk of 100 points, promotion, clean sheets etc all came from senior management and not the fans.
Come on man you must have an idea of who you think have got decent squads. No idea mate am not the one saying we have the best.
Tell the manager that. He said clean sheets will take us up.
Seems a little bit of a coincidence that he brings this out when the rumours about the takeover being off surfaced today
How are wycombe and Fleetwood etc managing to surpass their limit then.
Yeah exactly, boosted ticket sales. Just wondering if the original "leaking" of takeover was designed to boost tickets etc also.Fans renewed in phenomenal numbers for this level, so they achieved what they wanted.
And the managerYou cant say the fans have unrealistic expectations though when it was the owner who set the bar
The defence is indefensible. He was probably right - sadly we just can't keep them
So he should be sacked for failing to put together a squad for automatic promotion despite huge funds.Anybody who has been reading this forum all season would come to the same conclusion ,You and I disagree, but imo our squad is nowhere near as good as a lot of our fans think.
THIS.
I tell you what, I could f***ing set this team up better than Ross does. I'd have a gameplan to get the best out of Grigg. Set up partnerships all over the pitch. Left Back and Left Winger, Right Back and Right Winger. Centre Halves and keeper. Back four as a group. Know how your mate plays, what are his strengths, what is his go-to movement? When your right back attacks, your left back tucks in and makes a 3. Your attacking midfielder plays in and round your striker, but they play together they don't just exist in the same 10 square metres. They watch each other, thay talk, they play the same f***ing game. If you want your full backs to attack, then your defensive midfielder drops into the back line. What is your plan? Attack the wings? If so, fine your wingers a week's wages every time they check back inside from a good crossing position. Your midfielder pings balls over the heads of the opposing centre halves for your striker (and no.10) to run on to. Players use their brains and actually f***ing watch the movements their team mates make instead of just lumping balls up and hoping for the best. Be decisive - if the pass isn't on, you go back to your keeper. if you get the ball in the final 3rd, slide balls in between centre half and the full back. Make sure your winger is in play when you do, so the full back is distracted. Take risks, trust your technical ability..its a lot better than being completely outplayed by Lincoln

It's not f***ing rocket science
At no point have I used this as a defence for Ross. Where I disagree with many is the opinion that our players are so much better than those of other teams at this level, and that it is simply Ross holding them back from a comfortable top 2 spot. If Ross is solely responsible for recruitment (I have no idea how much input he has in this area) then yeah, it’s all his blame. But seriously, watch our players, how good do you really think they are?Well he has signed them so where does the blame lie if that’s true.

Just listening to it. It’s bad, marra. One of the RR bellends in on with the same shit anarl.I'd like to hear his comment and the wider context of the conversation before I condemn him. James is a decent guy so I'd be surprised if it's as bad as it sounds
Watching Bolton now and they look a better TEAM than we do. We haven’t looked like a team since November.I tell you what, I could f***ing set this team up better than Ross does.
