James hunter apparently reckons the fans have unrealistic expectations

It’s not unrealistic to expect promotion from league 1 with the most expensive squad and size of the club and superb facilities and of course the best supporters in the land so why on earth is this unrealistic.
 
I don’t want journalists blowing smoke up our arses but could you imagine a mag reporter saying that if they were playing dogshite football in league one, nah I couldn’t either. He’s just said that Ross can’t win with fans etc f***ing hell.

Also the same journalist who questioned why the fans thought we had money to spend. Maybe because the week before the owner said on a podcast we did and had bids out.

Anybody who has been reading this forum all season would come to the same conclusion ,You and I disagree, but imo our squad is nowhere near as good as a lot of our fans think.

We should only have 8k season ticket holders then - or less - what other teams get the gate money we do ?

I would be very worried if we didn't have high expectations - we are in Division 1 for god's sake. If the Mags were down here the sympathy in the press would be Liverpoolesque
