It’s unbelievable, shame non of them are defenders mind but the depth in quality is like nothing we have ever seen before. Bellingham is the one though, he looks ridiculously good and like he is going to progress insanely quickly at Dortmund, he’s hit the ground running. If only England had a proper manager in charge.

Greenwood, Sancho, Bellingham, Foden, Musiala... must be one or two other that I'm forgetting too.

I think we’re gonna see players drop off their peak a bit faster - relatively speaking. The physical output needed in a match goes up and up. Older players will struggle to keep up with the energy of younger ones. Bigger clubs will be thinking about moving players on earlier. Football is becoming a young man’s game imo.

in fairness to Southgate he will give the young ones a chance...but if Parky were somehow Englands manager .......!!!!!

England have a proper manager in charge, its southgate who has given all these youngsters a chance

Most teams these days have a midfielder like that. They're massively under appreciated in this country. Rice, whilst not being great, is a very very good player.

Problem is we don't have any other defensive midfielders and as a result they get games. Every good nation has players who sit deep. None of these brilliant youngsters coming through do that. Henderson can to a certain extent but he's no spring chicken anymore
