Getting to a point where you're starting to expect the slower ball and get surprised by a quicker one, as Niall O'Brien demonstrated there. Not criticising him but he needs to cut out the slower balls and he'd be a good'un

I said this during the Sri Lanka series. A slower ball should be a surprise, if it's a constant then that mean means he's a slow bowler.

His slower ball is very good, but when it's 3/4 times an over it's a waste of time.

Definitley overdoes it for me, he's a decent bowler but he can be a bit predictable, if you can bowl full and straight at around 90mph then thats harder to get away than 3 slower balls an over. Until he sorts that out of his game, he'll never progress to the test side.

Yep. One slower ball an over is enough for me.

Absolutely. But him and his shit earrings should be playing for South Africa 'D' and not us anyway.

apparently only played a couple of school cricket games over in SA. Came over here when he was 14 and has been developed by Surrey ever since. Hasn't gone back to SA and played at anytime either. I think is inclusion is fair enough

"I don't owe anything to South Africa. I was just born there, did a bit of schooling there, my whole cricket career has been based in the UK, and UK is my home. I want to give everything I can to England cricket, that's the country I love and that's the country that has given me everything I have now."[

Also he would probably say your a reet scruffy bastard when playing cricket;-)

Haha fair enough. Even ignoring his nationality I still think he goes on like a dick though.

I thought he looked a bit of a plodder at International level at first but he seems to be warming to it. I retract that statement

Perfect example of a dumbed down cricketer thanks to so much meaningless limited overs cricket.

He'd not even get in Durhams 4 day team let alone Englands
