murali played 29 tests outside the subcontinent, warne played 119, their averages were 25.85 and 25.13 respectively... pretty damn close.

i'm not going to argue who is better or who is worse mind.
Warne took all his wickets with legal deliveries ;)
 

Shocked. Thought he would carry on playing tests for another two years and have a go at Tendulkars record. Going to play 1 dayers till the 2015 world cup.
Probably the greatest all rounder of his generation and in the the top 3 of all time imo.
A poor mans Freddie Flintoff in the modern era taking away Flintoffs career injuries.
