I am enjoying the season thanks. We're near the top of the table, have only lost a couple of matches all season, and we would have won today if not for a worldy of an unsavable goal.

We would have lost as well if not for the keeper making a few saves and them missing chances. Works both ways.

Well after last two seasons finished bottom each time we now have people falling out about being 3rd coming up to 30 games lost 2 if we win our next game and Pompey and Luton draw we would be in a pretty good place .

He’s tactically clueless and has no plan b. He simply can’t change a game a around when things are going against us and makes bizarre substitutions at times.

Some huge questions need asking.

That’s just a generic criticism levelled at every single manger we’ve had in the last 10 years.

We're doing fine. We are still picking up points, grinding them out at present but we're still well in contention and have been all season. The lad has done well to turn the ship around so quickly.
No, no, no. All wrong.

We should throw money at players to get us out of this division. Tie them down on long contracts and make sure they get us promoted. We'll deal with the consequences later as we have never been in this position before.

Under no circumstances should we give a manager time to build something. We want it and we want it now.

You mean if our keeper wasn't as good as he is and our opposition was better than they are, we would have lost? You could say that every match.

Our gameplan today very nearly worked. We wore them down in the first half, took control in the second half when they were tiring, and we missed as many close chances as Scunthorpe did. The goal they scored wasn't due to bad play by us, it was an incredible strike. Our defence and our keeper held them at bay for the entire game. It was only a completely out of the blue amazing strike that managed to salvage the draw for them.

Questions need to be asked of this fella.

We draw far too many games. Hes.got us playing some absolutely filthy football and we are playing at a really poor level and still look shite.

Tactically hes very poor and slow to change a game.

Dont know whats happened really cause the first couple of month we looked ok but hes done a massive uturn and changed his tactics for some reason

Tin hat at the ready

I disagree, doing a canny job

You must be able to appreciate peoples' concerns. There's nothing wrong with questioning results and performances, I would have thought our fans more than most would be able to relate to that by now considering how patient we were with Short even though the evidence was staring us directly in the face.

We have had ample opportunities to move up the league, we have been gifting away points willy nilly. We need to put a solid run of wins together before we run out of time.

I wasn't pleased today but he's doing ok. Need a couple of new players before the window shuts but we'll go up IMO.

Oh and that's two in a row Portsmouth have lost to Blackpool and Oxford. Meltdown of epic proportions on here if that was us.

First paragraph is exactly my point. We didn’t win because we didn’t score enough and they scored. You can’t blame not winning over 90 minutes on a goal the opposition scored.

It’s like saying we only scored because their defender didn’t intercept the cross or any pass leading up to it.

We created very little all game. Our first effort was on about 40 mins from Maguire that was skyed miles high and wide. I’m not convinced that was our game plan tbh.

It’s been similar all season tbf. Us having a good keeper and a good striker has seemed to be the difference.

Of course it’s a good result if you think Scunthorpe are a better side than us and we managed to get a point.
