Jack Clarke

There are moves to the premier then there is this one , as it will be 38 games and over

They bought him to ensure on relegation they would be in a good place to compete to go up again

Year in years out promotion teams do this
Maybe. Wouldn’t surprise me if they stayed up tho. They aren’t doing too badly

I've not watched them this season but from what I understand I don't think Ipswich play with wingers. That more than anything (if true) will be screwing him over, he was never as good for us when he came inside, he's much better when hugging the byline.
He scored loads cutting inside

People have to remember the gulf in class between prem and championship too, there will be an adjustment period for the lad. But like a few have said, he might be one of those that are too good for championship, but just not good enough for prem. Either way, id say we are doing very well without him, and arent really missing him. Which is a compliment to the lass who have stepped up

100% this doesn’t suit his best attributes at all

I might be wrong but he doesn’t strike me as the most confident lad. Once he knocks a goal in or has a decent run in the side I think he’ll do alright.

Ian Harte really has fucked this lads development by pushing for moves away, he hardly playing these days, I can see him going out on loan inn January more than likely.

What on earth you talking about

Jack Clarke wanted to leave

It’s absolutely nothing to do with Ian Harte man
Dunno why people are really arsed. He's gone and not a Sunderland player anymore.

Best of luck to the lad, he gave his all here and was a great signing. Never even looked how he's getting on tbh now he's gone.

Love the lad me and wish him well

This idea that it was big bad Ian Harte that forced him to leave Sunderland against his well is insane tho

Why would anybody give a toss he no longer has owt to do with us move on
I watched the game only because he and Amad were playing -young lads who were great for us and I enjoyed watching when here.
You are right -nowt to do with us now -but wouldn’t have tuned in otherwise
Not sure if it’s odd but hey ho

Imagine going from being adored by 40k every week. Being the main man to bench warming at f***ing Ipswich of all clubs. Despite his massive pay rise, that’s got to keep him awake at night.

I've said this countless times but people just interrupt and shout wages, wages in your face.

Aye, he's on more money but now he's a bench warmer for a much smaller club, with a very high of going straight back down. There's more to football than just wages.

Maybe someone will get injured and he’ll get a run of games?
People going way over the top. He’s getting more game time than Chiesa at Liverpool

As things stand things are not working out for him and that's all people are pointing out. Wages aside he'd have been better off staying at Sunderland.

How’s he fucked his development? The likelyhood is there isn’t much more development. Also why on earth can you see him going out on loan? He has either started or come on in every game for them since he moved

This. Ultimately it was his choice he had the final say. Good luck to the lad
