Jack Clarke

Why are people acting as if Harte solely controls his career. Obviously Clarke wanted a prem move which is what he’s got. Good luck to him
There are moves to the premier then there is this one , as it will be 38 games and over

They bought him to ensure on relegation they would be in a good place to compete to go up again

Year in years out promotion teams do this

Financially it’s a no brainer. Probably tripled his weekly wage going there.

It gives him exposure in the prem if he can get a run of games, but he’s having to make do with being a constant sub at the minute.

Even if they go down, Ipswich will likely sell the players ahead of him (Szmodics being one - or however you spell it). Then he likely gets to thrive in the championship again.

Can’t see another prem team picking him up should they go down though, us included.

People think because he isnt starting right now he will or needs to go out on loan.

He will play plenty games this season when Ipswich pick up suspensions and injuries.

Also Harte doesnt give a fuck about his career man, he’s arsed about making money.

Dunno why people are really arsed. He's gone and not a Sunderland player anymore.

Best of luck to the lad, he gave his all here and was a great signing. Never even looked how he's getting on tbh now he's gone.
I watch Mayenda and Watson. Add in Mundle and I'm not sure he'd get his place back. The scenario won't happen, he was a very good player for us but his departure has opened up opportunities for others.

He's only featured in 9 of their 12 games to be fair...
Mostly off the bench

His wages tripled...he agent is richer... but i do wonder if this was the outcome he wanted.. 2nd fiddle to szmodics

Going from star player to bench Warmer must hard to take

I can’t stand the bloke me. Harte that is. Sums up everything wrong with modern day football.
Harte is just taking the opportunity to operate his business model in a business that allows it to happen. For the amount of money and dealings with foreign clubs that go on, football is about as regulated as the mafia.

I just found his comments on social media very unseemly and disrespectful. I think his daughter is dating Tom Watson so no doubt he will be agitating for him to go elsewhere soon.

Up to him to force his way into the side and stay there, it was never going to be easy.
