The owners are the only reason they were up there in the first place mind. Heavily backed Wilder who bought effectively two entire new teams last season between the summer and January. Not their fault he spent it all on shite he coached badly.
 
I think he’d do well in our system tbh like.

The way Ipswich play him doesn’t suit him at all.

He’d look much better in our system

Can't have coached them that badly, they hit 90 points and look at them now he's gone
 
Quite sad watching his celebration when he scored, didn’t quite look happy or have the aura and connection with the fans he had when he scored here. He’s not the Jack we knew and loved! Hard to believe he played for us a few games last season and was on course to have another good season, suspect had he stayed we would have picked up quite a few more points and he would have been going into this season full of confidence but it’s all ifs buts and maybes now. He must kick himself every day now!

I see your point but I am not sure he would. He took a chance when he had it to move, and clearly part of that decision was financial - and he has now had a year + on whatever that new salary is.

Its sad how things have played out for him but we move on. He wouldnt get into our starting xi currently and would be too expensive to sit on the bench. Plus we have Mundle to come back in.

or his greedy agent. He did well for us but as far as we are concerned i think he should be considered yesterdays man as we now have better imo.
