I openly said he looked lost on the left wing last season, he did. He was constantly cutting inside and just shovelling it square or back. I also said he looked promising on the right side.

He's somehow totally turned that around. He crossed the ball several times with his left foot at the weekend. Fair play to the kid.

Sure. He’s looked good so far. Let’s hope it continues.

It’s a handful of games so far. Let’s not forget that Clarke did it for a much more sustained period of time

He really wasn't and defenders struggled to do anything with him.

To be honest mate, I'm flabbergasted that a Sunderland fan would post the above considering how well Clarke played for us. He deserves a hell of a lot more respect than that. He's a fantastic footballer, and in terms of entertainment, he's one of the most exciting players I've seen play for SAFC.

Clarke past, Mundle present, Watson future. I wish we had players in the other 10 positions for RLB to select from for competition although TBF we do have a fair few on their day who can play a bit. Just can't afford Hume, Mepham, Onein or Cirkin to get injured because Alese, Huggins, Seelt and Ballard aren't available for the foreseeable, and Alese particularly is a big miss.

JC was quality for us but he’s now gone so really couldn’t give a fuck how he does. Why are people so obsessed. He f***ing left us, he chose to leave. Forget him
