Jack Clarke

Yes he has a great attitude and runs his socks off which will help Ipswich’s transitional game.

I meant interchanging in right spaces, which somebody like Amad is better at than Clarke

Man City are miles away from almost all of the premier. Ipswich will do better against other teams
We’ll see.
I can’t see them getting above bottom 4.
Start with confidence but will soon drain.
I can see them being above Everton for sure, Southampton maybe and then they’re in the mix.

There’s an additional point which is that if Ipswich go down, some of their players will deliver and get snapped up next year.
Clarke would score more goals than Amad or Garnacho.
For Man Utd?

Depends how they want to play.

It looks to me like they’re trying to build a dominating team, which Clarke wouldn’t excel in

If not - and it’s a team of transition and counters then yeah maybe. Although Garnacho is v good at that & he’s probably better than Clarke

In your opinion, not mine the knars

the worst thing is...hes been badly advised I think by people who wanted to make money from him

but I am sure he will be happy with another half a million quid or year or something

hopefully get a couple more lads in and we wont be as one dimensional as we have been..which wasnt clarkes fauly he just stuck with it
It’ll be a lot more than half a million quid a year.

At 60, the list of Players I have seen come and go at is endless
Some I was just gutted to lose. Gary Rowell❤️
Many, I wished the best to.
Some I loved but thought, if you don’t want to play for sunderland, f**k you.
What I never thought was any player, was bigger than Sunderland
My first “gutted to lose” was Colin Suggett, broke my young heart.
Then Toddo, Tueart, Watson.
Since then tho, I’ve been the same as you in thinking that nobody is irreplaceable.

I’m too young, if 60 can be called young, to remember Suggett going. Todd left, if I’m right, 1971, so I don’t remember but I remember me dad not being happy.

Tueart and Watson, I remember but, as gutted as I was, I think I remember thinking, why wouldn’t they leave to play in the then, First Division.

In more recent times, I think of those who we loved to bits, who were actually just pure mercenaries.

They’ll never warrant a place in the players I’ll remember.
