But it’s certainly getting a fair few arguing about the merits or otherwise of just about all areas of the club, has the beer been mentioned yet?
 
Don’t really get why everyone is saying the fee is low, Summerville (championship player of the season) went for £25m, Hutchison signed for Ipswich (only 20 and looked as good if not better than Clarke last season) went for £23m. £15-20m sounds about right for Clarke, not sure we could realistically expect more than that given the fees paid for Summerville and Hutchison.

I've already been put in my place about Summerville, it was his release clause. Hutchison is a fair comparison I guess, for me the extra value for Clarke is the value he brings to our side. I bet Chelsea have a whacking great %age of the next sale or a buy back with Hutchison.
 
Imagine if this was a bullshit story put out by Harte. We choosing to say nothing and watch him squirm. Show Clarke who Harte really is.
