I wasnt particularly comparing them by saying that. Roberts is a brilliant footballer. He has been outstanding at start of this season. Him and Amad could operate at a technical level that jack clarke can only dream of. You add another couple of highly techniccal attackers to our team and i reckon we'd be stronger than with clarke. He was fairly limited albeit excellent at the thing he could do. His decision making wasnt very smart at times throughout his time here. Id much rather watch roberts / amad type players perdonally

Again, we all know the model and the fact that he was always gonna be sold, would have been nice to hang onto him until January, the issue myself and most have is that we have sold the lad far too cheaply.

So let’s say we add a left wing version of roberts…. Who replaced clarkes goals and assists because roberts certainly won’t.

You’re saying clarkes decision making wasn’t very smart at times which is fair enough but then big roberts up. Do you watch roberts. He literally never makes the right decision

I love Roberts, technically the most gifted player in our squad, but to say the above 2 comments about Jack Clarke is ludicrous mind.

Its not.

He isnt the greatest winger of all time. He was quality in a shite team. Theres plenty of other wingers / attackers who can flourish in this team and make us even better

Theres a reason top teams arent interested in clarke. His decision making is one of them

This post is mental. I love Roberts, and have defended him to the hilt on here,but Clarke is a better player, ESPECIALLY at decision making. He is a very clever footballer, which I think sometimes gets overlooked

What was the summer budget before selling Clarke, literally not spent a penny on a player apart from wages. Why has it taken a sale for us to buy players.
