Atleast we still have Roberts who doesn't score, poveda who doesn't really score, rusyn who doesn't score, ba who is an unpredictable lad who often flatters to deceive, mundle who looks nowhere near ready as well

Maybe the future sell on % is the pivotal thing in all this, yes it feels like we’ve had our pants pulled down now, but the likelihood is that Ipswich will get relegated, If we have a 40% sell on fee and he is sold for 60m next year, that could justify the piss poor selling price now,
We won't though. It'll be 20% max. Knowing us, it'll be 10%.

Apparently hes gutted we’ve accepted the offer, and is feeling like his hands being forced now
Dear me what a load of shite it's his decision end of the day if he doesn't want to uproot his family and move hundreds of miles away then he can just stay here

Its not like he will be dropped and train with the under 21s

I don’t think it’s a surprise at all that he looks to be away and I wish the lad all the best of luck as he deserves his chance in the big league. The fee though if true is an absolute joke when you look at the likes of Liam de lap going for the same pretty much. Nothing we can do I suppose.

Well he will financially for starters. And he’ll have the opportunity to put himself in the shop window for bigger and better things. For him, it’s no brainer. A good contract and top flight football.

For Ipswich, they’ve got a player with potential for a decent fee that might come good in the top flight. If so, he can help keep them up and / or make them profit. If they go down and he’s a bit short of quality in that division, they’ve a top second tier player still on their books with parachute payments to play with.

For Sunderland, they’ve money in the bank, proof of financial sustainability and good FFP books and the opportunity to go and buy three unproven bairns that might make a few quid profit in three years time.

It’s a deal that works for all parties except Sunderland supporters.

Oh, and Spurs and Ian Harte make a few bob as well.

The supporters are the last thing on KLD’s mind, we are an irrelevance in the overall scheme of things.

This "they used to be in league 1" bollocks is silly like. If another club said it about us we'd be pissing ourselves at it. Completely irrelevant to anything.

'Clarke isn’t all that in fairness, he tries to cut inside literally all the time he’s becoming too predictable.'

Just the 27 goals & 19 assists since we got promoted a couple of year ago, imagine how good he'd be if he wasn't predictable eh?
Tbf Marco this is the lad that said Onana spends the majority of his time in the opposition half.
