Well there you have it… the club have chucked the season in while it looked as though it was an exciting start. Feel sorry for those buying season cards.

Fair play mate, I started the day excited at the prospect of strengthening the squad for a promotion push (which shouldn't be out of the realms of possibility given we are the biggest club in the division). Anyway, I soon realised what was happening and we were being manipulated in readiness for the bombshell of virtually giving away our star player.

Rusyn does a lot of great work people don’t see like dragging defenders out of positions enabling the attacker behind him with the ball to run at them.

His work ethic is also top notch. 3-0 down at the mags and 90th minute he was still doing it.

We’ve seen our fair share of bottlers play for Sunderland, he is not one of them. Good head on his shoulders and tries for the team.

Regarding Clarke the writing was already on the wall last winter he was going, I’m more surprised it lasted until nearly September tbh.
