Jack Clarke

Aye IF he meets the clauses, maybe goals/assists and staying up etc. not certain. So around £12M we'd get for sure. Wouldnt be worth it at all.

Sportswashes on behalf of the Saudi state

Speakman just needs to hold his nerve and not even enter negotiations tbh. Just a straight no until the offer is too good to refuse, ie £25m up front.

@skunk hater I think the majority on here appreciate you have got stuff in the past right and you post it on here but to post he's agreed a new contract then to ignore loads of posters who tag you because it's such an important topic for safc fans is pretty piss poor tbh.

If you've got it wrong then fair enough but please don't ignore posters

Yeah. Says that Ipswich have made a bid of £15m up front with add ons to take it close to £20m and that that’s likely to test our resolve
Didn’t we say the price was 25 mill? How would 5 mill less and that’s only if Ipswich stay up which they won’t.

If we have any chance of getting promoted we need to keep him. No way should he be sold for 20 million he's worth more than that to us. Unless of course he wants to go then we get as much as possible.

Is the right approach and one he seems to be adopting -clubs (as we know ) will get desperate as the days go by and results go south

If they get anywhere near £25m I think he will be gone. Ipswich lowball us first offer to test the water and possibly unsettle the player.

Let’s be honest he won’t say no to Prem football

They didn’t with Ross StStewart
Thats not comparable at all. They didn't turn down huge bids to keep him, he only had about 5 months in the championship and then was injured.

He was sold as soon as he got into the last 12 months and that was also the highest his value had ever been. This summer is the highest Clarke will ever be at Sunderland if he doesn't sign a new deal
