Jack Clarke

His experience at Spurs will be informing his decisions . He's played the best football of his life at Sunderland and he's a guaranteed starter.

I agree - his experience at Spurs will defo be playing a part in his decision making. If he does go he needs to find the right club and I’m really not sure that Leeds is a great fit.

As I posted earlier, although they are smaller clubs, I personally feel a Brentford or Ipswich would be a better move for the lad.

Only that it was sorted mate - we're seeing here this week so will ask her the craic in person
Any update 🙏🏻🙏🏻
That's a big if.

Only Ipswich and Southampton have had any decent sort of interest? And since then, they've signed other players - Ipswich Szmodics and Saints with Brereton-Diaz and Archer?

Both could still come in for Clarke.

But if neither do, then moving to Leeds would still be more beneficial to Clarke than staying.

The only other reason for Clarke to stay, would be thinking he likely has more options come next summer or 2026 when he's free.
Big Boro ugly dope

I see £15m-£20m quoted as Jack Clarke's transfer value.

Yet Leeds get £40m for Georginho Rutter, whose goal return is dogshit by comparison.

Why is Clarke priced so low ?
I think it's something to do with Clarke having already made the move to Spurs and not getting a look on. Dare say if he was our academy product and hadn't moved before, his perceived value could be significantly higher.

Isn’t that the same ‘footy insider’ site that we say know nowt though?
Dunno ...

FYI Motondo is right footed ... so I'm not implying this had direct baring on Clarke... the point is about what Leeds are looking for and how much there willing to drop

Just like Clarke. A right footer on the left so surely there would be direct baring if it's true.

Unless Leeds are thinking of playing clarke exactly as we are and given what he's done at safc... they be mental not to

Thought montado was right on the right type of player...round peg round hole

Seem some LUFC fans are now thinking this is an indicator that they may be moving away from clarke ...interesting to say the least ..

I know there's lots of forces at work but I think he will be anonymous in the Prem
Better defenders ,regular game? ,Team set up etc .
So he's a fantastic championship player but still stuff to learn
I would stay here if I were him . If it was money he had chances before now to go

Tricky situation with Clarke. Atm his stock is probably at its highest to get the best deal. Even if he has as good a season as last year he'll only have a year left on his contract so would get significantly less you would've thought.
Unless we get promoted this season of course.

Rutter 22 year old £40m from Leeds to Brighton, stats not in the same street as Clarke, Clarke a better player, how much is Clarke worth! A lot more than £25m I would suggest?

If I was him I'd be looking at Brentford or abroad probably. He'd get in the Brentford team pretty regularly and seems to suit their style. More of a stable top division side these days than Ipswich.

West Ham just signed Summerville, and Kudus played there on Saturday. Palace it's where Eze plays so he's not getting in there. Who else realistically could pay what we'd want and are short a winger?

Harte will howk him about for the next couple weeks as expected, he's clearly a shit agent and is looking to cash in on his biggest asset. I think he'll stay this season and we'll get what we can for him in the summer if we don't go up. New deal might be part of him owing us a bit of loyalty but could include a release clause.
